Welcome to the Sikora Lab.
The Sikora Lab and the MRC-ICU Investigator Team are committed to an environment that fosters the growth and support of each individual. We view team science, layered learning, and mentorship networks as essential to conducting high quality, innovative research but more so for the personal and professional success of each member of the team. We believe in professional generosity and open communication; we value diversity and inclusivity. Ultimately, we are a team committed to making more mentors and paying it forward.
The vision of the MRC-ICU Investigator Team is data-driven, optimal pharmacotherapeutic care for every critically ill patient. This team’s primary line of research inquiry is aimed at advancing artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize medication use to improve patient-centered outcomes in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Disciplines that are represented include pharmacy, medicine, computer science (including specialities in artificial intelligence and machine learning), humans factors engineering, and biostatistics (including specialities in predictive and causal inference modeling).
